Absolutely, hope Benicio gets all the awards. I was thinking that basically the film had plenty of great performances and two iconic ones: Lockjaw and Sensei. These two feel like they'll live on in history as symbols of fascism and anti-fascism respectively.

Any opinion on the work of Steven Shaviro? I feel like you might enjoy "Doom Patrols" and "The Cinematic Body" if you haven't read those already.

Exactly! I saw it on IMAX, so I really got to enjoy the finer points of the film's imagery. That final chase is the stuff of legends. We all need to be like Sensei Sergio in these times ("Ocean waves...").

I've always felt it was pretty funny in the artist life how there are periods where you're just withering away while waiting for things to happen then sharply contrasted with periods where you're doing absolutely everything at the same time. When it rains it pours.
