Turns out voters don’t love being told “lower prices on day one” — and getting the most expensive year on record.

This shouldn’t shock anyone who actually understands politics. Voters aren’t asking Democrats to play nice, they demand a fight.

The country is burning and we’ve got too many Dems bringing a spray bottle to a five-alarm fire.

Because of the Trump shutdown, 143,000 Rhode Islanders could lose access to food assistance starting on November 1. Don't let political dysfunction in Washington hurt our community.

Help RI Food Bank keep our neighbors fed.

Incredible: today’s No Kings protest appears to be the largest in Providence, Rhode Island history — 20,000+ showed up to say loud and clear that we will not bow to Trump’s authoritarianism.

Grateful to chat with The Boston Globe about my Opportunity Agenda to Build a Better Providence — from successfully returning schools to local control next year, to tackling housing affordability and investing in stronger neighborhoods.

So proud to be endorsed by Victory Fund, the nation’s leading organization fighting for LGBTQ+ and reproductive freedom, as an “essential voice for equality.” I’ll bring that same fight to City Hall for a more inclusive, equitable Providence.

Trump strong arms the DOJ to indict his political enemies. It’s authoritarianism in plain sight. The most dangerous politicization of justice in history.

With democracy under threat in Washington, we need to safeguard it in our communities and prove government can make life better.

Being a candidate reminds me daily of this country’s promise. There’s plenty to worry about, but also real hope.

Right-wing extremism is the biggest national security threat facing the United States and anyone who says otherwise is lying to you.

When democracy is under threat, we can't sit on the sidelines. That's why I’m stepping up to run for City Council in my hometown of Providence. After a career electing leaders and winning campaigns on the issues that define our era, it’s time to get in the game.

We’re in a perilous moment for our democracy. The way to fight back is with action. This weekend with @lgbtqvictoryfund.bsky.social, we lifted up the record number of LGBTQ+ Americans running for office to defend our values against Trump.

Nothing sums up America under Republican rule like turning a place of history and strength into a strip mall food court.

While you were sleeping, Iowa Democrat Catelin Drey flipped a ruby red state Senate seat with a 20 point swing against Trump, breaking the GOP supermajority.

If you’re wondering why Republicans are rigging maps, this is what they’re afraid of.

Four years ago today, we walked hand in hand into the best day of our lives, surrounded by our favorite people. Every day since has been an adventure — navigating the incredible life we’ve built together.

These aren’t headlines from a democracy.

They’re headlines from a banana republic.

This is an insidious lie: Trump’s top campaign promise to voters was lowering prices of consumer goods on day one. Instead, his actions have drastically increased costs.

He failed to deliver his single biggest promise.

The sharp swing toward immigration should be a wake-up call for Democrats: take the fight to Trump on every front. Voters didn’t ask for MAGA’s cruelty, chaos, or dystopian deportation force — and they’re rejecting it.
