It's very similar. It feels WAY closer to a DH comic than your standard Pred movie.

I think Badlands honestly. Just because it takes big swings and succeeds and offers something different. While Prey is great and Amber Midthunder is goated as fuck, in terms of structure and plot, Prey played it very safe.

They need to make him expressive, and they did a good job of that! Just, during intense battle scenes, I kept thinking, "He can't actually see shit." It would have also played more into using Thia as a tool, having her being a lookout, since his vision had been nerfed.

My issue is very specific. Predators have super bad vision without the mask. yet the entire movie Dek is jumping through trees and dodging monsters every 5 minutes. I would have appreciated him crash landing with a bio mask, wearing it for the first 20 minutes, then getting it damaged/loosing it.
