I knew I had to have a Cosam Neptune to play 32X and Genesis games, but I needed help transfering the custom chips.
So I called in a pro! @ohpoorpup.bsky.social nailed it and apprised me throughout. Beautiful! Check out that subtle cartridge slot shave on my Model 2 case to fit 32X carts!

Battle Bakraid gets a lot of hate from shmup pros because optimal scoring requires tactical suicide. But weird scoring doesn’t bother me since I’m still playing for survival 😂

Workbench gore: the ugliest way to re-flash a Neo Geo V3 161-in-1 cart, with the CPLD +5v powered by a hacked USB cable. But it worked!

Ebay seller claimed this PC Engine GT was recapped and working, but it's full of ancient, leaky caps. 2/3 HuCards I tried didn't boot.
The terminals would be trivial to fix, but it seems unlikely the seller tested with batteries.
Hopefully the return goes through.
