We won’t, and that’s ok. We just take what wins we did get and shout it out as much as possible.

There will be other battles we can fight, but it’s not worth getting mad over something we have little to no control over.

Be patient. Our Endor moment will come, just not today.

For now, I recommend getting off social media for a bit, cool down, and come back when you’re back in the right state of mind.

We’re not giving up, and neither are the Democrats.

I don’t like this anymore than you do, but I’m not gonna let blind rage cloud my judgement and you shouldn’t either.

Take a deep breath and try see things from every point of view, not just from those who rage post or don’t understand the larger scope of things.

We will learn from this and come back even stronger and smarter. GOP won’t. They have shown they have no strategy other than act like brats, cover your ears and ignore reality.

Don’t throw this all away just because Dems are doing something you don’t agree with.

Democrats aren’t perfect and we can disagree with their decisions, but we need to stand behind them every step of the way because the alternative is much much worse.

Do you think the Rebels would’ve won had they stayed on Hoth and fought the Empire? No, they would’ve been crushed and the Star Wars Galaxy would remained under Imperial rule.

They took the loss on Hoth so they could win at Endor.

This is not capitulation. Dems know they’ll dealt a massive blow to the GOP, and the damage they’ve dealt to them will
only worsen overtime

This is a tactical retreat. Take the wins we’ve been given, plan out the next course of action, and come back and deal even more damage.

You can be angry, fine.

But would you still be cheering the democrats on if the government were still shut months from now and nothing had gotten done and nothing was working anymore?

I seriously doubt it.

Do you really think Dems should act petty like the GOP and refuse to budge unless their demand are met? Then they’d be no better than them.

This is a very complex game, and a lot of people fail to understand how it works.

Do you think it’s a good idea to keep the government shut down indefinitely?

Do you think it’s smart for Democrats to be petty and whiny like Republicans are?

Do you think it’s a good idea to throw away all the victories we’ve made this past month?

We can’t win every battle, and Dems know this.
