Even now, I revel every time I see Man Utd lose.
Something so satisfying seeing people I grew up with suffering by choosing to glory hunt 15/20 years ago instead of supporting Villa, Wolves, West Brom, Walsall and Blues.

Quite peculiar really. At the start I thought it was purely Emery waiting for Elliott to be at the level he desires but that theory seems to be going out the window now.

The longer this goes on, the more likely a decision will be made in January. Harvey Elliott left out of the squad - he's well down Emery's pecking order, who he & #AVFC say accounts for the lack of minutes. But it's becoming very frustrating for Elliott:

The way he creates space and picks passes takes us up a notch and it's pretty clear how vital he is to the way our side functions. In a congested midfield last night he makes it look easy.
