It’s a bit rich to hear the Feds and ‘Berta dismiss BC’s very real concern that we will be stuck with the bill in the event of a spill or other disaster. In return for what?

Why are Canadians picking up the tab to clean up after abandoned oil wells? Why has the provincial government failed to properly oversee the companies that privatize extraction wealth and socialize its costs? Alberta may not have a sales tax, but what have they—and the rest of Canada—gained?

If Alberta gave a shit about their economy they wouldn't have wasted the opportunity that their oil would have provided.

Now they come crying and want to destroy BC now? Fuck that bullshit completely.
