I do like "I am home" bit as well though - but perhaps more of a subplot of The Cat finding 'his people' may have made this more effective.

This is my biggest sticking point with Promised Land. Doing the minute by minute has made me really appreciate and love it more than I did when I watched it - but the Cat/Rodon thing makes no sense and it kinda smells of "crap we need to give the Cat *something* for once!"
