Based on the most up-to-date and comprehensive survey of degrowth academics and activists, it reveals how different interpretations of degrowth align with strategic orientations and support for implementing various direct-action tactics.

On the “map of mentalities”, the various tensions and conflicts surrounding the topic of socio-ecological transformation can now be understood as antagonisms between these three spectra.
