All right, let’s do this one last time. 23 | He/Him | pfp by @batshaped.bsky.social

Do not use my art for AI training
Touched up my sketch and colored it in. I’m very pleased with how it came out! I keep wanting to add a background but I’m going to call this finished before I ruin it

For the first time in a long while I had time and energy to sit down and draw with pencil and paper so I threw together my own rendition of Yamato’s hybrid Zoan form. I love him, he’s my favorite character from One Piece

Fanart for the game @potionomics.bsky.social

I couldn’t stop thinking about what creature the Elder Being Tusk came from so I made my own rendition
I highly recommend the game, it’s super charming and pretty challenging

+a height comparison because I guess that’s my bit on here lmao

Grick are ambush predators that reach on average 8 feet in length from the tip of its tentacles to its tail

Grick Alpha are more active predators who are better at using their bodies to take down prey. Presumably they are also larger and much older

Rust Monsters! The dread of any adventurer

It’s rumored that if a rust monster makes its way to Acheron they’ll gorge themselves on the metallic plane then spin a cocoon of metal, eventually emerging as a new rust dragon

Simple creature that destroy equipment and unlikely to be anything more

My personal spin on the D&D Harpy. I tried to not make them look like regular people that just have wings slapped on and I like the mix I hit with avian and humanoid features

Darkmantles like to hang from cave ceilings posing as stalactites or sometimes even indoors pretending to be wizard hats waiting for an opportunity to envelop a creatures head.

They can also coat the area in magical darkness while doing so to further disorient groups

Purple worm size comparison alongside purple worm eggs and a purple wormling

Plus a Gravedrinker variant color from Van Richten’s Guide to Ravenloft

Bulette, also known as landsharks, prowl rolling hills in the same way that sharks patrol reefs. They particularly enjoy horse and halfling meat and dislike the taste of elf and dwarf. They devastate any area they inhabit until they run out of food, moving on to terrorize a new place

Xvarts, made by Raxivort after stealing the Infinity Spindle from Graz’zt. Attempts to track Raxivort redirect to the nearest Xvart

Graz’zt claims he didn’t need the item but I think that’s just him coping with losing a chance to gain a spark of divinity (like Demogorgon and Orcus both have)

More clean up giants; the aliens. The B’rohg can draw and quarter an unfortunate adventurer and the Braxat is a big psychic acid spitting dinosaur

And the last of my giants… for now…

Let’s start to wrap up the rest of the Giants that I’ve so far. Verbeeg and Mercane are both just kind of taller people but Mercane have extra joints in their fingers and a mental link with all members of their kind to instantly communicate news of a bad customer who shouldn’t be worked with

A gold dragon that I drew for Tareen’s Shapechange spell. They’re a little bit smaller (~11% smaller) than the average Adult Gold just because I thought it’d be fun to roll for size using the 3.5 Draconomicon for some variety and finer measurements

#Homebrew: Illithid Tadpoles, to my knowledge, haven’t been stated up for 5e so I took matters into my own hands and made a version for the 2014 ruleset to detail how ceremorphosis typically occurs and I detailed a swarm option just in case you should happen to encounter one

Illithid tadpole. Nasty buggers who are the start of the Mind Flayer life cycle, used in experiments by Mind Flayers, and as delicious snacks for already existing Mind Flayers and their Elder Brain. If left unattended they begin to devour themselves until only one is left, becoming a Neolithid

Hell yeah! I’ve also got a trans man paladin! He’s an oath of the Ancients subclass

Beeg warforged! (But not nearly the biggest of them) The warforged titan are amazing walking battle towers that can slash and smash on the front lines

I was getting super into Moby Dick and let me just say this size comparison makes me appreciate the majesty of whales even more!

They’re absolutely titanic! God, I love whales

Gorgon, in dnd, are bull like monstrosities covered in iron plates. If rusted severely, plates shed and cannot grow back.

They also have a breath that can petrify creatures caught in it.

Their blood has a magic property that when mixed with stucco/mortar can be used to block ethereal travel

Grell are pretty big! Despite their appearance, they’re actually allergic to brains, they’ll often form a symbiotic relationship with Mindflayer colonies. Providing additional protection for the colony and corpse disposal. The Grell gets the flesh and the Mindflayers get the delicious brains

I drew a beholder, made using the tables in Volo’s Guide, it ended up looking like an ice cream with gummy worms in it

+ I wanted to remind myself that I can in fact draw more than just size comparisons

I just like seeing monsters next to a normal person and it’s pretty easy to draw those

Cute little Couatl, I really like the roleplaying bit where they cannot lie. It’s a fun restraint to work around

Giant Apes are Huge but I couldn’t find a definitive height for them so I guesstimated their measurements based off the miniature sizes

They’re on the lower end of elephant height

The minis show them as big gorillas but I like to imagine them as Gigantopithecus, similar to giant orangutans

Here’s another version without the ponytail just cause I feel conflicted about any snake humanoids having hair
