What a great story - love to see people making sure stuff like this can happen

Seems like they were ready to shut it all down immediately. We went to a few games and had fun, but the last one, especially, wasn’t well attended. Sorry to see them go.

There are lots of legit controversies in the world, and a lot of political differences that matter, but there are also fundamentals that just have to work.

Constantly doubling down on division doesn’t change those fundamentals and doesn’t solve those problems.

Hmm - maybe my memory was off here. They did say in their estimate submission to the PUB early this year that they expected a deposit would be required in 2025 (which is ahead of the completion of the Integrated Resource Plan and the actual plan for the facility) but it doesn’t say it’s paid

I thought they said they had a place in line earlier this year… will see if I can find the doc

I do wonder about the ability of the NDP to articulate what they’re up to and the purpose of their party in ways that resonate with ordinary people. I absolutely see the reasons for doing what they did, but their ability to articulate a simple, straightforward message seems to be MIA
