It took years of corruption to get to where we are now.

Right-wing orgs spent $55M pushing Project 2025, political donors spent $15B during the 2024 campaign cycle, and then the GOP steered $170B to immigration enforcement—with many of the contractors having political connections.

Tennessee’s special House election on Tuesday should be a GOP cakewalk — but voters are really sick of Trump

The sudden competitiveness of an election in a heavily gerrymandered Republican district could be a sign of rising political fortunes for Democrats.

Wait a minute...you mean to tell me thousands of the most beautiful women on earth didn't all randomly decide to join Twitter in 2023?????
X rolled out a new feature overnight showing where accounts are based. This network of “Trump-supporting independent women” that claimed to be “real Americans” are based in Thailand.

The photos were stolen from European models & posts pushed pro-Trump lines while targeting Islam and LGBTQ people.

If I’m understanding this correctly, X is owned by a white nationalist who pays poor people of color in developing countries to pretend to be working class white Americans to scare other white Americans into being afraid poor people of color from developing countries are going to ruin America?

I’ve never forgotten this picture from 2016 and how it completely reshaped my understanding of how the media covers protests.
But if a few people in masks start lighting stuff on fire? Then you have news. This creates an *enormous* attentional advantage towards the most violent and chaotic kind of protest.

How does a person become famous when they’re just a kid?
