I'm reminded of the time I ended up in a band photo (2nd left) for their album liner notes because they couldn't get the keyboardist to pick up the phone and they needed a body for the shot. And no, I don't play.

I just attended the latest Bookselling Research Network event and a "William Gibson" was there who never turned on his camera. I spent the whole time thinking "nah, it can't be, can it?"

I live in the land of slow email replies and even slower administrative processes, so receiving a reply from a bookseller within an hour of their opening time was strangely exciting.
