The Ghosts of Xmas Past, Present, & Future all rolled into one festering, I mean festive, mess!

I’m no legal expert but probably an Act of Parliament to amend/change the act that stripped them of their UK citizenship in the first place. A court case to set a precedent could be one way of forcing the governments hand. The King would have nothing to do this, his role and ascent, is ceremonial.

Sadly, yes.

What else are hypocausts for except standing in?

Still not? Shame.

I shall delay no more in doing so 👌🏼

That’s a very privileged demographic to base your assumptions upon, but then like you say, it’s not your fight so I’m unsure why you insist on pushing your sweeping generalisations. An act of Parliament stripped HKers of their citizenship, the same would restore it, & it would be natural justice✌🏽

More sweeping generalisations; over 2 million people protested in HK, from all age & social groups, & funnily enough don’t all wear black & gas masks anymore, & yes, they get on with life even though they have lost their home, just like all people who have had to leave their homeland.

You are making some sweeping assumptions without knowing the facts; the MPF pension pots of HKers are based on salary & are capped at HK$1,500 (£150) per month, hardly a fortune. My point remains, HKers lost their British passport based on a treaty that has been broken so they should be restored FOC

Would you be happy having your citizenship removed from you & then made to pay thousands of pounds to get it back, whilst having your entire pension pot denied from you?
This is the reality for over 200K BNO in the UK. I know that I speak for many when I say they are not happy with this situation.

They were all born British citizens so the fees associated with the 5+1 offer are nothing but pure profiteering.
Personally my wife & I could do without the expense, as could my brother, sister, & mother in law, who are all considering returning. To say all HKers are prosperous is a generalisation
