The use of theatre in the INA is a fascinating topic in itself.
The point of my article was that it became increasingly critical to the Italian Campaign to maintain Indian troop morale because of their contribution on the battlefield.

What amused me most was the fact they mentioned several times in the first 10 minutes that no respectable European academic would touch this project.

Watched the first episode last night and that's an hour I will never get back. Interviews with sensible people warning that environmental factors > genetics. These messages are then ignored with close-ups of the hosts saying, 'This is big...'

Found the Churchill letter and another from the 14th Army saying that Noel Coward was a 'bloody nuisance' during his visit to Imphal. Successful trip!
