Into anything that gets me outdoors (fishing, diving, hunting, tramping etc etc). Enjoy BBQ, and the occasional pint while partaking in BBQ…long low n slow cooks are my favourite, more beer drinking time.
Oh that’s going to screw up Mark M’s stats…let’s call it unauthorised access by way of motor vehicle. No one will notice that

That answers that question then, I had one of those years ago, and the batteries got very hot charging in it (Energiser ones)

I have a Surface Keyboard for work that takes AAA batteries, but it’s a wireless one. I figure your one is the tablet style Surface version (If it’s broken, Harvey Norman have them on clearance)

Oh wait, if it’s one of those connected keyboards, probably not

New batteries?

The irony of being served a Stuff popup ad when I clicked on that link was not lost on me🤦🏻‍♂️

Both will work fine, I find it’s the quality of the rechargeable battery you use with them is what counts.

Given they gutted the original KiwiSaver to pay for other things, I don’t really have high hopes on this policy. Did they mention any policies to deal with the cost of living crisis…or is that over in their eyes?

Must be about time to roll out John Key again…in 3, 2, 1

Maybe they just wanted to go golfing in the WA heat…rather than stand around in a large fishbowl for five days🤷‍♂️
November 22, 2025 at 10:29 PM
Actually, I clicked the link within that article…and yeah, not a great look. But I stand by the fact that if there’s a marine sanctuary, everyone should abide by it.
November 22, 2025 at 7:31 AM
Hate to say it, but Stuff are using some creative license there…he’s not quoted as saying that at all, they’ve just written it to appear that way. Clickbait at its finest sadly.

And you would think being a student city, they would embrace diversity, inclusion, culture and all that. And for the most part, when I lived there, it was ok. But occasionally a few of those rednecks emerge from the back blocks…so yeah, still a way to go🤷🏼

We are risk of the ODI becoming the long form of the game 😬

I didn’t see any signage alluding to that…and that wasn’t the basis for the protest. Allowing marlin and 19 other reef fish species to be sold by commercial fishers as bycatch was another one of the reasons (which means they would target them). Rec fishers are usually conservationist's.
November 22, 2025 at 5:51 AM
Hmmm, and a lot of this relies on the fishermen accurately reporting their catch…and not tossing the bycatch overboard. But yes, seems like a lot of work for little gain.
November 22, 2025 at 5:12 AM
I wonder why they didn’t put their name to the story? Aside from the fact they seem to misunderstand tariffs…what harm could there be signing your name to it🤦🏻‍♂️
November 22, 2025 at 3:38 AM
It is, and if the Govt/Shane Jones thinks the Hauraki fishery is in such a great state, why do they even need this? That’s a question I wish someone would ask.
November 22, 2025 at 1:29 AM
We are almost at a point where seafood is cheaper than meat etc…which will put a lot of pressure on an already over fished ocean. But I think the beef with this law change is allowing commercial catch in reserves where nobody is currently allowed to fish. That’s what they are opposing.

You have to go over the top, the road was closed after the quake I believe, but you can still cycle/walk it I think (it’s been a while since I was last down there though)

I still have mix tapes laying around from the early 90’s Rick Dee’s Weekly Top 40. So much more engaging then streaming services.

That was me on Tuesday, absolutely knackered after that session, I went three rungs high, but ladder was side onto a fence so was secure enough, but an electric pole saw fully extended is hard work. My desk job ready body is not trained for that type of work🥵 (it was also a very hot day)

💯 % chance he knew, he is/was part of the Police old boys club. Now he’s trying to hide behind his office…but we see you!
