Yet another bout of infighting from the People’s Front of Judaea / Judaean People’s Front / Popular People’s Front. Surprise surprise

Splitters!

We need a Prime Minister with clarity of vision and the willingness to take on Reform rather than try to ape them

Keir Starmer is not that person

Boris Johnson says the idea that criticism of the BBC is being organised by the right is ‘complete and utter bollocks’, which makes me think there might be something in it.

Robbie Gibb needs to go and be replaced NOW

Robbie Gibb was appointed to the BBC Board by Boris Johnson, was an editorial advisor for GB News, and worked as Theresa May's Director of Comms.

He is not impartial or neutral. The government should remove him from the Board immediately to protect the BBC's independence.

Whole fucking thing makes me sick to my stomach. An abject fucking liar, a man who lies as easily as he fucking breathes, threatening an organisation which strives for truthfulness. And plastic patriots like the Mail and Farage urging him on. Jackels.

Trump wants to destroy the BBC and take our money. And Nigel Farage is egging him on.

All true patriots should tell them both: hands off our BBC.

Starmer should appoint a BBC DG who is every bit as biased as Davie was, just in the other direction

AfD has been kept out of power in Germany because no other party will countenance working with them

I want the same commitment from British parties about Reform

I know some people consider it a bit woke, but I believe that if someone is a massive racist and attempts to exploit tragic events to push their extreme ideological agenda they shouldn't be consistently rewarded with a platform by media.

Nigel Farage has gone mighty quiet on PR since it started looking like FPTP might give him a Johnson-sized majority on less than 30% of the vote

Could the British political parties please stop their “Who can deport more people, faster?” competition

Thanks

Has Keir Starmer considered appointing a certain someone as the Lord Brown of Dunfermline and making him Chancellor?

Not entirely unserious about this

Every European election be like

Liberals (centre-right) 23%
National Brotherhood (far-right) 22%
Amazing! (centre) 15%
Social Democrats (centre-left) 13%
Greens (left) 12%
Separatist Party (left) 7%
Separatist Party of Somewhere Else (far-right, possibly illegal) 5%
Communists (far-left) 3%

So why does the BBC label the academic and economist Faiza Shaheen an "activist" but refuse to do the same for the former academic, turned anti-migrant activist Matt Goodwin?

Cinema staff used to come and tell people being loud to shut up. Failing that, they’d kick them out. That role appears to have completely vanished, and not for the better

It's increasingly obvious that Labour's strategy - call it Starmerism, Blue Labour, whatever - has got it badly wrong. It has alienated the party's core vote while failing to win over those leaning to Reform. There was no shortage of people warning them they were getting it wrong either.
Three years ago, Labour was polling in the 50s.

On Reform's Danny Kruger's reported complaints about parties being 'LGBT-supporting', a Lib Dem source says it's "disgraceful and completely unacceptable."

"Farage's MPs clearly have views that are completely out of step with modern Britain." He "must confirm if he agrees with these comments."

FPTP only works when there are 2 clear dominators

We need PR

Labour need to get over the white working class. They’re no longer Labour voters, and trying to win them back just alienates the people who are now Labour’s support base. Be a party of graduates and professionals
