Structurally, they mainstreamed the “everything breaks down midway through the match and 1/2 is just an extended finishing stretch” tag structure popular on the indies which is inherently worse, dumber, less patient and psychologically interesting wrestling. Candy. So I didn’t have high hopes.

If you want to go through life consuming instead of engaging with your hobbies, that's fine by me. It's your life.

Just maybe don't tell other people not to think and care like you did on your initial reply.

I get what it's like out there. But hey, I'm not grifting here. I just really liked Briscoe vs Fletcher and would have liked a crowd that wasn't unnecessarily burned out to be able to go up and down for it because a match that could have been better balanced for its place on the card.

It’s not always rudo hubris or miscommunication that leads to the comeback either. Sometimes, a tecnico getting a little space and hitting a move is enough to turn the tide. That’s why the fans bit so heavily on the hope spot. What matters the most is the turn of fate.

Because this was 2/3 falls, the first fall ended with the rudos taking over, starting the beatdown. This comeback led to a third fall with pairings/exchanges ending with dives clearing the ring for a final pairing between captains. You watch enough, you'll learn the structures.
