Anyone who cares at all about ensuring future generations know how to think on their own, how to reason and develop their cognitive abilities, should be absolutely opposed to allowing generative AI for any kind of writing. It should be banned in all schools.

Absolutely fucked that I now have to consent to an AI scanning my data to improve Wiley’s systems in order to publish in a top journal.

As if they don’t profit enough from hosting my intellectual property. My data is now a training pipeline.

My first book, *Unpaid: the Past, Present and Future of Wage Theft*, will be published by @versobooks.bsky.social in May, 2026!

This book is born from experience. It is written for anyone who is dissatisfied with the capitalist wage system.

UK higher education is in a risky position.

In 2023-24, 732,285 students, or 23% of the total student population, were from overseas. Russell group unis take an increasing share of students.

With a lack of endowments and lack of government support, the sector could collapse.

Justifying my reasoning isn’t the same as doubling down. I have direct experience and know London very well. Maybe I’m wrong. Feel free to share data that backs up the OP. But I can’t continue discussing as the FT guy threw a tantrum and blocked me.

Musk wants a world where eugenicist pseudoscience thrives alongside conspiracy theories so that apartheid, late-fascist and Nazi-inspired regimes are the superpowers of the “West”.

They’ve won in the US and Europe is next.
