Nothing is more clarifying about the “Christian” right than their efforts to keep these books out of libraries and get more bibles in. Education teaches about the history of inequality and justice, while fake “Christians” want “education” limited to “misery leads to heaven so quit whining.”

100%. I don’t remember exactly when it hit, but it hit hard.
With major networks and the big two, I NEVER assumed the country would lose its sources of the pro-democracy, pro-justice, “healthy” American perspective that kept us grounded and (somewhat) united. The loss of that has amped the anxiety

Not a good analogy. Everyone knows the diagnosis here.
A better analogy would be a patient dying with a ruptured spleen while the surgeons argue about all the components in a differential diagnosis for a ruptured spleen.
Stop wasting time, get the spleen out NOW and stop the bleeding.

It’s great and creepy but the center point of the story is kind of dumb and ruined it a little for me. They’re searching for an ultimate weapon that - scares people to death.🙄

I can’t fault that opinion either, but in this era of political threats and real violence, it takes something to decide to get in the crosshairs. Even with her wealth and protection, it’s a far tougher path.
I haven’t changed my opinion of her. Times are interesting, though.

People ARE redeemable, though. But for someone like this? She would need to take REAL action in ending Trump and all of his disasters while apologizing and admitting her part in this mess.
That is extremely unlikely.

Huh? Yes, I’ve seen people mention that it could be catastrophic for the GOP, which is very natural. I don’t know if I’ve seen a single person suggest “pinning the electoral hopes” of democrats on it.
