We had a shooting at a party on the roof area of my building in downtown St Paul earlier this summer. 3 people shot, no deaths.
There were 27 police vehicles on the scene. I’m not sure why they needed quite so many, but obviously a serious response.

This is an understandable critique of Klein.
It may not matter (maybe it’s worse), but he didn’t have Ben Shapiro on to discuss the Charlie Kirk murder or try to bridge the divide, it was a previously recorded show about Ben’s book that he chose to release anyway (with a prologue about why).

I don’t believe conservatives are my enemy.
I believe they are wrong (and that some of their leaders are absolutely malicious).
But it’s neither right or possible to eradicate conservative thinking. So we do have to learn to live together. Part of that project is to convince them of the same.

But what’s the alternative?
It’s not that I don’t understand the danger, it’s that I don’t understand what WE should do differently. I don’t think we should adopt the idea that THEY must be destroyed.
