I love FaB but I am struggling to engage with it right now. A lot of the skill expression within is now gone due to the increase in variance. Games when I started easily went 2-3 cycles deep now I am lucky to see even half. The level of polarising is somehow still increasing.

Playing with the post bans deck, for the most part positive. on the flip side I do not think chart was the real underlying issue of gravy, it was a high roll card, yes, does this stop him doing degenerate bullshit with Leyline absolutely not.

Just tested my first games of singleton blitz, this was a mistake, Krakens aethervein with plume legal is a massive L. Card banned in LL is good when you have half the life, who could have guessed. I was on an Oldhim list and just died. My Crown of seeds is still not legal I guess.

Just played my first armoury on teklo since HNT and I have to say this was one of the worst gameplay experiences I have ever had.
R1 marlynn - L
The deck just couldn’t interact with them, slapped with a 16 overpower where armour was useless. Lost with them above 30.

I am not sure how Mech as a class is getting support in the future, right now there is a huge amount of disjoint between any of their card pools. There is 1 card with galvanise and boost written on it at the same time and it's awful. I would like to see some further coherence given.

As the CC format is right now I think runeblade specifically needs some heavy bans. It was originally balanced by having below rate or conditionally on/above rate attacks. Now it has on rate physical attacks and is so far pushed above what the rest of the game is it’s awful. #fabtcg

After this PQ season I can safely say I dislike the space runeblade is occupying in the game at this moment in time. Between having everything offensive to everything defensive it felt awful to face and was impossible to target both without playing one of them.

Not gonna say runeblade is a bit pushed, but of the 6 UK PQs I know about they won all of them. 4 Aurora and 2 Florian.

I’m predicting that Aurora is going to LL this PQ season. She would only need to win around 20% of events which she more than did last RtN season even with Viserai around. This is ignoring BHs and callings. This does raise a question about the power of onboarding heroes and their game longevity.

I think the game needs enigma to LL. her being in the format has almost single handedly removed the ability to specialists to exist at a tournament level. Every deck which does well into Aurora practically auto loses to that pile of cards. At best they’re unfavored.

I love FaB and hate being down about it but there are a few things in the game right now and there has been more of them added in recently. It is cards with lack of player agency. The most egregious examples falling to Miragai, Siren's Call and Felling of the Crown.

I’m learning into Aurora and she’s just frustrating to play into. So much split damage everything feels like a 0 for 5. Theres no obvious ban which can bring her in line with the rest of the field at a reasonable level without gutting her. CLV with shock/ sigil of suffering is miserable

#fabtcg I opened cards from a case of Rosetta which seemed to have a very different foiling than others. Both boxes were from Belgium print to my knowledge. Every RF rare and non expansion majestic were like this.

Testing into Aurora, I can safely say she does not need the support of an armoury deck as I think she may be a bdif contender, as soon as Vis and Zen LL. I would go so far as to say Snatch needs a ban as the overlap between that and CLV can very quickly snowball. #fabtcg

#fabtcg incredibly happy with the BnR today. I wasn’t expecting it but I think it is incredibly healthy for the game to remove cards which are power outliers early. I also like the pre banning of cards in the future before they warp a format too much like with krakens.

#fabtcg I am unsure how I feel now the cards are revealed for HNT, the limited is the best I have ever played in the game but at the same time it has added a similar situation to bonds of ancestry Zen. Cut through/ stick and run Ira is incredibly powerful combination allowing unbalanced ....

I was thinking about what would be good for the LL system in #fabtcg and I think there is an issue in top loading decks hogging the points too much. This is slowing down the natural cycling of other competitive decks. A possible solution would be LL points going to 2nd place too in tier 3+ events.
