His lack of air time in hard knocks was a bad omen.

I’d love to see a good answer for this. All I’ve seen is a ton of scolding for daring to talk about AI/LLMs in any positive terms, and vague direction about not normalizing “it”.

Back in 2010 when my son was born, we had to pay $50 (which was because we got a private room) for the birth and hospital stay. I was piping hot mad that it wasn’t more. I screamed at them begging them to take more money but they just refused.

It’s unclear to me what “these” and “that” you’re referring to in this context. What do you think I’m excusing?
October 26, 2025 at 2:35 AM
There’s no “us” here. I’m only taking umbrage at Marcus’ repeated dumbed down AI takes. I have no idea who you are, or the guy that replied to me, nor your level or knowledge of AI.

Honestly… might be worth trying typescript and node instead, unless you’re using something specific you need from the python ecosystem.

The terrible type system in python has made me reaaaally dislike working with it.

That wasn’t a view, it was a question.

While yes a little patronizing, his words reflected a simple and uninformed understanding.

He can be on the right side of it morally and ethically but still make bad faith arguments.
