this piece is a collaboration between eleonora and i, the piece is called "eyes closed because you can't look at what you're leaving behind" because for me it feels like I am growing older and i see parts of my past leaving me which scares me and I avoid looking and reminiscing about it, eleonora says: "there is nothing ahead of me, except the crumbs you left. there is nothing ahead of you, except the phantom kisses you accepted. neither of us can look at it." the piece uses my mixed media style of working with a picture of the moon, this one shot and edited by eleonora, it is designed to look like a folded page in a notebook, the string implies a connection
