Neither side is entirely correct; the truth lies somewhere in between. Financially, capitalism benefits the fortunate while neglecting the less fortunate. On the other hand, socialism can sap motivation to innovate and progress since everything is owned by the government.

I'm a US citizen, and I say let's start anew!
I don’t buy much from the US, iPhones and Levi’s.
If I lose weight I can get back into old Levi’s for the next four years.
Some small food things I can now dodge.
Gradually easing out US podcasts and finding UK, NZ and Canada ones instead.
We can all cancel one US thing.
