But isn’t it thought provoking that “poke the Russian bear” seems to be straight from the script Russia handed to Nathan Gill and coincidentally Nigel Farage used the exact same line?

I’m just asking questions, of course!

I genuinely sympathise with that.
The "will of the people" apparently only applies to the English!
I would certainly apply for a Scottish passport if Scotland were able to offer one. I studied there which is just about the only tenuous link I can think of 😔.

I'm genuinely interested, what did I miss?

I agree there’s no easy route but Labour’s red lines mean there’s no real intent.
No one expects EU to just let us in but models like Daveys bespoke SM (like Turkeys) show what’s possible. We may not be high on EUs agenda but in Trump-era we need each other more than ever so we need to be ambitious.
To quote @jamesob.bsky.social PM thinks there's a brilliant Brexit but it goes to another school!

They're trying to 'make Brexit work' which is pretty much mirroring Fagash's 'it was not implemented correctly'!

Anyone under the illusion that labour are trying to do the right thing, is mistaken
Ed Davey, "I know members opposite are relieved, they're finally allowed to say the Conservative's Brexit deal is a disaster"

"Will the Prime Minister act now to repair the Brexit damage by negotiating a new UK-EU Customs Union to boost Britain's trade and grow our economy?"

Keir Starmer, "No"

McSweenys lose-lose strategy:

Reform is right about everything but don’t vote Reform. We’ll try to out-Reform Reform!

Right-wing voters aren’t happy with Labour as the party is pretending to be something it isn’t & it risks losing the left as well due to its performative cruelty. Bravo!

McSweeny will simply tell Starmer to cling to their absurd red lines & that'll be that.
Labour are afraid to lift a finger against right or rw media.
Yet they're perfectly ok to bully the weak & the downtrodden.
Classic bullies, all mouth until they’re faced with someone bigger then they bottle it.

McSweeny will take this as a clear sign the public wants them to toughen up and double down from here.

Reform+ policies loading! And of course Keir Sheep Starmer will dutifully follow along right behind.
