#Rays can only afford so much and I don't see them taking a chance on Zac Gallen. Unless it's a Japanese option, I think Eflin or Littell are most likely.

Difference between Ketel & Donovan is substantial tbh. Marte can carry your lineup & hit MLB’s best pitchers hard while knowing you can afford him through deal. Donovan has shorter history, less bat, but more versatility. Rays likely want Ketel more than Donovan, but cost match is important. 3-way?

Hard to say. If I were them I'd want Theo Gillen over Summerhill, but #Rays built up enough OF talent to trade away from it if they have to. Hopkins would be a no for me. Cost wise, he's key to what #Rays want to build.

Rotation would take a hit with Ryan Pepiot dealt, but expectations would be that #Rays could then bring back Zach Eflin or Zack Littell. All included, they'd still be under the $100M mark.

The only reason the F35 was picked - ever - is because they asked pilots who just want the nicest gear. But when the country you buy them from can literally control WHERE they allow you to use them & can cut off your access to communications or information at will, you are no longer sovereign.

ALL of the points you post here are in favour of the Saab jets.
Parts would be controlled by U.S. if we go with F35
U.S. decides which upgrades we can get & how much they'll cost ($$$$$)
The SAAB option is much more able to meet Arctic demands & to be operational with questionable infrastructure.

He did it for Mexico in 2023 WBC, and he looked fine imo.
But hey, I'm no scout. I'm just judging from 3 years of watching him in minors & what I saw in Mexico.

He led the American League in errors three different times in 2015, 2016, and 2018. In that 2015 year, he posted 35 errors total. I mean, I get the apprehension with Aranda at 2B, but by no means is he that kind of defender. His glove work is better than Brandon's, and he can make the basic plays.

I think so. Really turned it on in 2nd half & made a lot of highlight reel plays.
