One of my neighbours has this on his front door. His front door overlooks a shared grassy area where I play with my kids. Really sucks

While we’re at it, let’s stop eating all other animals too!

Yes that’s encouraging. I liked the what is the purpose of university slide (‘to resist AI’). Not enough resistance going on at the moment!

Thank you Dan - an excellent (and necessary) talk. What was the response like?

That was a great read - thank you Linda. And cheers for the tip Tim.

Thanks - but according to this it’s in the Kmart sand too. "The product may cause a risk to health as asbestos has been detected in some samples after laboratory testing.” (According to the recall)
More coloured sand recalls prompt ACT to close almost 70 schools
Kmart has recalled four coloured sand products over concerns of asbestos contamination, prompting the ACT education department to close dozens more schools.

More representation for the hard right is a bad thing, even if they’re taking seats from the Liberals - just look at the public discourse in the UK. Albo will stick to his misguided centrism and get dragged further to the right.

Oh wonderful - we have had the blue Kmart sand for 4 years at least. It’s in the bin now. Really hope my 8 year old didn’t lick it at some point.

Yep and 10 years ago the most popular car in Australia was the humble Toyota Corolla. It’s a sign of what bad tax and regulatory settings gets you. The previous conservative government incentivised these huge trucks.

I also see plenty of Rams, Chevrolet Silverados and Ford F-150s in my suburb.

Great listen - thanks Ketan. The analogy with (ignoring) road deaths really lays it bare.

New sign in my neighborhood last week - I decided against the leafy shortcut to the library that day!

It’s more that petrol (or gas, as you septics like to call it) is crazy cheap in the US.

I heard about this comet just now from the nice man at the pet store. He told me that the aliens on what he called ‘Atlas AI’ would be arriving in January. Glad to hear that’s not the case.

Um, we’ve definitely got them in Australia thanks to our (until recently) completely nonexistent emissions standards.
