I wonder if this is necessary. Perhaps for some dogs, but not most. We use jackets at the dog shelter, but not boots.
Perhaps some dogs get used to it, which would take to long for the short time they are at the shelter. They are also terribly stressed when they first come into shelter.

That's the perplexing part, they do so much more damage by dragging this out. People will speculate on all kinds of stuff. Better to get all the info out in a massive document dump

Yeah, I never saw Archie as a lovable bigot. I saw him as mean, hateful, and scary. Mostly, I came to dread the show because of the reactions he got from the males at home
It's why I still distrust even the smartest satire as a means of change. People just conclude the joke is on the other guy

I remember as a kid people asking this and they just would not let it go, just at Archie did. It seemed so silly to me
