MassDEP’s Environmental Strike Force teamed up with the City of Boston's DPW to install hidden cameras along Livermore Street in Mattapan. The cameras recorded multiple vehicles illegally dumping mattresses on at least three occasions.

🚰🌿 The Healey-Driscoll Administration is helping nine Cape Cod towns fund projects that cut nitrogen pollution and meet updated septic and water protection rules. The grants support local solutions to improve water quality by reducing excess nitrogen.

👐We also awarded $793,000 today to assist small, underserved, & disadvantaged communities that need additional support to meet federal drinking water requirements, reduce PFAS exposure, remove sources of lead, and tackle local water quality challenges.

Today, we announced $489,480 to support seven public water suppliers with water management, streamflow restoration, and stormwater-related projects. This funding is critical in helping communities maintain healthy rivers and streams and restore degraded water resources over time.
