Cover page for Masque Knight Crypt-iD episode #2. Miranda is underwater, reaching for the Thunderbird Para-Disc. Two more Discs float behind her. Crypt-iD arrives in Paradise City, still on the Nesscycle. The voice from before contacts her through her helmet's comms. As Miranda drives through the outskirts of the "Lower Circle", the person on the other end explains that they'd like for Miranda to continue using the Crypt-iD Gear to protect the city. They explain that another dimension crossed over with this world some time ago, and the creatures that spawn from that world take on the form of creatures of myth, cryptids and the like. They are named "Figments" by the Foundation. It's the Foundation's belief that someone or something is enhancing these Figments to become powerful and violent, like Arachne in the first episode. Crypt-iD was created to use the Figments' powers against them. The person speaking to Miranda no longer trusts the Foundation.

After some time, the Arachne Figment returns and finds Miranda standing ready to face her. Miranda equips the Crypt-iD Gear and inserts the Thunderbird disc. She declares that she's here to defeat Arachne, and then transforms, saying "Masque up." Standby jingle for the Crypt-iD Gear: "Who. Am. I? Who. Am. I?" Miranda scans her hand on the Gear: "Disclosed!" Colour page! Crypt-iD is born. She wears a suit, largely black with purple accents. The mask has a bird theme, with a beak forming across the nose and zig-zagging points representing thunder. A thunderbird motif covers the chest. Transparent, sparking wings extend from her back. Thunderbird disc transformation sound: "The wingbeat that shakes the sky! I am Thunderbird!!"
