Mayor of Bothell. Because the world won't change itself. Curious about land use and transportation. Rides a bike to boring meetings.

Government should do cool stuff like design the best skate park in the area with a roof over top of it. Our community should be a lot of fun to live in.

Thanks to Bothell Parks and Grindline for listening to our skate community and giving them something to be excited about!

Before too long when we have events in downtown Bothell we'll just be able to put up bollards ❤️

If you want to get to know some really gifted candidates and young electeds, come to this event and be impressed by what Gen Z is serving up in politics on the Eastside.

Below is an artist's representation of me at the event

Currently being built in Bothell. If you change design standards to move the bike lane on the other side of the curb and planter strip you can create a better, safer experience for all modes with the same amount of right of way.

Boy it's fun to see things get built.

I just got this email from our statewide city association about @jessdbateman.bsky.social's parking bill, and boy it’s frustrating to see the org we pay dues to sending emails like this out. So frustrating that I will address their local control talking points in a thread.

Not just state legislators.

Hey Bluesky. Question for you. If you were planning for how to improve pedestrian streets, what sort of amenities would you like to see? Shaded areas? Places for kids to play? If you want to drop some ideas or pictures in the replies I'd appreciate it.

Just under 20% of Bothell has been paved because we have built it or mandated it, creating the traffic and pollution our residents say they want less of. Our heat island map is basically a parking map.

We should do things that work to make our lives better instead of subsidizing our problems.

We need some congestion relief on the one line. More cars here instead of the roads please.
