The way that socialization "worked" on me was that it kept me from seeing who I actually was for so long. I truly thought I was just some type of guy who didn't fit manhood very well.
Then, *like a light switch,* I realized I could take it off. Like an ill-fitting uniform that smelled like work.

I turn 60 next Summer...and age is definitely catching up with my face.
It's like I only got a few years of being how I always pictured myself before, and now that's fading away...ah well, I'm not done yet!
