Explaining to my teen volunteers, none of which grew up here, how mini stick hockey is a part of Canadian culture bd a core childhood memory for many. Yes I'm letting kids play this in the library. No, I don't think Imagination Playground thought Big Blue Blocks would be used this way.

I'm low key becoming a sports fan in my elder 30s. I don't know what's up with that. Is it that I like numbers? Sports is mostly numbers. I remember when I learned in my teens that music was math and was l like 🤯 I bet if someone tried they could have done that with sports.

I honestly can't recommend enough having a job that doesn't really matter in the grand scheme but is also highly unionized. The lack of guilt at having to use benefits I have paid and fought for is tremendous.

I've been using a cpap for about 3 weeks now and the weirdest thing, which is also showing that it's probably working and possibly showing that I have literally never been sleeping properly, is that I am having dreams. For basically my entire adult life I haven't remembered dreams.

Got a new e-reader for Christmas (I haven't had one since the original kobo) and immediately learned how to set custom screensavers. Yeah I don't need everyone seeing the book covers thanks.
