I'd scrap VAR completely .... It's only a game of football after all, or should be, but with all the money now at stake for clubs chasing success or avoiding failure, plus the huge betting markets, every decision has to be forensically examined.

It's ridiculous, and bad for the purity of the game.

TV and money.

I totally get that football is about talking points and controversy, and we certainly know that referees are fallible, but ever since we've got away from "If,in the opinion of the referee ...", it's gone nuts.

Maybe if players didn't routinely cheat, the ref's job would be easier? 🤷

I routinely avoid the EFL highlights unless Tranmere win, so don't watch very often 🫣, but even then, scroll forward to the 4th division only- no real interest elsewhere

Tbh, I've never been so disinterested in football generally throughout my life as I am now. Way too much cheating & simulation. 😔

I record MOTD, and watch later, fast forwarding through all the preamble, interviews and analysis.

Can't be doing with all that, but it does illustrate how much they pad the programme out, as just watching the football itself doesn't take very long at all really 🤷

Mine was having a chance conversation with a family member about my 'difficulties', being made aware autism was present in our family history, then doing some basic research on the UK's NHS website.

It was a lightbulb moment for me, and I knew there and then. Was formally diagnosed subsequently.

Requiring very clear instructions in the work environment, asking too many questions on training courses, and needing to focus on one task at a time, rather than being asked to multitask.

If this is genuine, then fantastic work!👏👏👏

I'd love to see this kind of robust response to illegal activity adopted by councils up and down the country 👍

Yes, there's a sense of loss at missed opportunities isn't there?

I was diagnosed with autism aged 60, and mourn the life I never had, but possibly could have had, with knowledge, and a support toolkit for negotiating my way through situations and relationships I have badly struggled with 🤷

On the positive side, some gifs are seeing heavy traffic at the moment, in response to this epidemic of lack of self-awareness 👍
