Happy to share our new article in @narjournal.bsky.social! We present Methodical, a computational approach to systematically map regions where DNA methylation most strongly correlates with transcription refining our understanding of gene regulation in normal and tumor tissues

Systematic identification of regions where DNA methylation is correlated with transcription refines regulatory logic in normal and tumour tissues
Abstract. DNA methylation at gene promoters is generally considered to be associated with transcriptional repression in vertebrates. However, lack of a cle

Happy to see this out! We show that the power-law property observed in protein-protein interaction networks can arise from biased testing, particularly targeting disease-related protein groups, and high error rates in experimental methods.
Incredibly happy to finally see our manuscript "Emergence of power-law distributions in protein-protein interaction networks through study bias" published in @elife.bsky.social. doi.org/10.7554/eLif... It's been a long but fun journey with @dbblumenthal.bsky.social and @martinschaefer.bsky.social

Very useful for newcomers (like me) to navigate this platform: a starter pack on #cancer #evolution
I've started a list of people working on #cancer #evolution. Many more to be added, so do let me know if that is you. Also if you would like to be removed. go.bsky.app/QuAF4Mo
