2/2 We used two different methods to assign exposure from job-exposure matrices: a conservative (high specificity) and a more inclusive method (high sensitivity). Our study indicates that specificity is more important than sensitivity, as expected for rare exposure situations. Nice teaching example🧑‍🏫

Urinary pesticide biomarkers show a high within-subject variability resulting in substantial nondifferential exposure misclassification. This would dilute any association if there were one. We will now investigate various methods to predict individual long-term pesticide more reliably.

It may contribute to a more rationale debate. Actually, in 🇨🇭 the proportion of concerned people has reduced since 2019, possibly due to various measures.
