Looking on in mounting horror

My Grandad was in Antifa
I've noticed he very often makes a note when asked a question he doesn't like.

That looked well worth the wait

'Benefits Street'

I said this yesterday. No one wants to know just how fucked the economy is because of brexit. Brexiters won't listen and Labour are too scared to tackle it head on.

That chair is way too big for him

Don't threaten me with a good time

It was only recently that Murdoch removed editorial independence from the Times but it really shows.

Yes, The Telegraph hadn't been driven completely mental yet

And who did they think was going to produce champagne in pint bottles? The French? Are we allowed to call them thick yet?
November 27, 2025 at 9:03 AM
Perhaps they are looking to the brexit reset to boost growth. I have heard the talks are going much further than the original TCA reset

The latest theory as to why we haven't been in contact with another civilisation boils down to 'it's way too much bother' and everyone is just pottering around their own neighbourhood

I always like the bit when the Bene Gesserit thought they could control Duncan Idaho with super sex powers only to discover he had even greater super sex powers and the tables were turned. Not weird at all.

That the EU is 'homosexual' is one of Putin's major domestic propaganda strategies
November 26, 2025 at 9:04 AM
Surely it's a win - win for Starmer? Unless Labour has skeletons in the cupboard as well?
November 26, 2025 at 8:47 AM
within the Russia report is one incredibly pertinent fact: the Government of the day has to authorise the security services to investigate political matters.
November 26, 2025 at 8:46 AM
It’s always been about telling a story to the electorate but the story now is abject horror at how fucked the economy is because of Tories and their Brexit and no one wants to tell it or hear it.
November 26, 2025 at 7:52 AM
Such a good piece. Labour can genuinely give themselves permission to go as far as the EU will let them if they are honest with the electorate about how bad the Brexit damage is. £90bn a year is impossible to get back without going big on either single market membership or massive tax rises.

It implies that there might be an Order Goblin somewhere

Do I have to keep the wife?

Needs more seasoning

Most pond witches are already pretty disturbed
November 25, 2025 at 9:54 AM
Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.

There's a good game for your phone called 'Plague Inc' where you play as a disease. You have to give your disease a name and I called mine 'banter'. You get rewarded with the line 'Banter will wipe out all humanity on earth' if you win. It's the little things...

"One young kiddie on Cake cried all the water out of his body. Just imagine how his mother felt. It's a f***ing disgrace."

'Raising Arizona' was my introduction to the Coen brothers and I absolutely loved it. My all-time favourite is 'Miller's Crossing'. If pressed I'm not entirely sure The Big Lebowski makes it into the top 5
