Funny that this came up in my feed on Threads. Last week my vacuum needed a new belt. I encountered the same problem. Only Walmart had vacuum belts. Not Home Depot, Menards, Target, or Meijer.

I paused the video of Qatar GP qualifying when they showed Kimi Antonelli's garage. Mercedes puts the lat-long of the race on the garage floor. I entered the coordinates and they actually come up outside the Lusail circuit. They're for an access road. I figured they'd use coords for the pits. #F1

This is not "mathing." Investors should bail if this is their plan. The revenue is peanuts based on their planned expenditures. The revenue is not going to hockey-stick like they're thinking.

Not many plane pics on my phone, but I have tens of thousands on my computer.

I'm setup for the extended Windows 10 updates, yet they're still pushing to update to Windows 11. If someone made the explicit decision to stick with Windows 10, it should be pretty obvious they have no interest in 11.

Are you f**king kidding me? A 700-square-mile TFR over Chicago for 12 days.

I was looking at Google Street View of the Albanese Candy Factory & Outlet in NW Indiana. In 2013, the Street View car captured an air conditioning unit being delivered by helicopter. maps.app.goo.gl/dTsMGWKtMcRg...

I was able to go back in the livestream. The Golden Sahara II sold for $1,150,000.

Holy shit. This can't be right. I missed the selling price, but I think it was at least $200,000. There must be something special about these posters.

This dragster went for only $5,000. It was built for a driver with a spinal cord injury, so it had special controls for steering, accelerating, and braking. I think everything is being sold without a reserve, so some stuff will go for not much money.

The auction moves along at an incredible clip. This 2002 Lincoln Continental concept sold for $100,000.
September 20, 2025 at 8:48 PM
Wow, this sold for $180,000. It's crazy how much people will spend on a car.

They do list the auction results by highest bid, so that does provide some context.

Purdue, Western Michigan, and Lewis University planes flying over the Chicago area.

A few remote sensing missions over the Chicago area right now.

I caught the end of this episode of The Price is Right. Bob Barker said the audience hated the shirt he was wearing, except for one guy in the front row. Bob took his shirt off and gave it to the guy. Hence Bob being shirtless except for his jacket and tie.

Probably the only photo of a Lancia Fulvia with an Oscar Mayer Wienermobile in the background. From today's car show on the grounds of the former Meadowdale International Raceway.

I accidentally opened Twitter and this was at the top of my feed. That place is such garbage. But bravo, Scotty Mac.

Interesting pattern for aerial data collection. Usually it's back and forth across an area.

The planes leaving Oshkosh, as of 2:20PM today.
July 25, 2025 at 8:46 PM
Whoa, check out this convoy of Cirrus planes. It would be bad-ass if they were all cleared to land one after the other.
July 20, 2025 at 6:56 PM
Oof. These folks flew up from Kansas and they've had to go around twice. Hopefully they don't need to use the bathroom.
July 20, 2025 at 6:27 PM
I guess if you enjoy flying it's probably no big deal if you have to turn around and go all the way to the back of the line flying into Oshkosh.
