Journalists are the first line of defense against disinformation and fake news. But we still know little about the kind of strategies that European journalists use to address fake news. In this report Jacopo Custodi, me and Hans-Jörg Trenz use interviews with journalists to answer this question.
💡How do journalists respond to the spread of #disinformation? Our latest RECLAIM #infographic explores journalists' opinions on the challenges of post-truth politics & asks for their solutions🗒️

Maxilian Conrad from @haskoliislands.bsky.social (and the PI of RECLAIM, that I’ve worked on for three years) with interesting thoughts on what «post-truth» actually is and what we can do about it. @tepsa.bsky.social
"Post-truth is not only one phenomenon, it’s a combination of aspects that amounts to a fundamental transformation of political culture in liberal democracies"

People have a lot of opinions about how to fix the "fake news epidemic". One solution is to strengthen traditional journalism. But what exactly do people want from news?

I've been fortunate to spend the last couple of years thinking about how #politics, #journalism and #posttruth interact. In this short explainer I give my take on why quality journalism, and traditional media, are still vital even as the news cycle becomes quicker and quicker.
📰 The news cycle has been going a mile a minute for some time now 👉 but in the maelstrom it's important not to lose perspective

In the latest #TEPSAexplainer, Martin Moland explains the value of quality journalism in the new media age ⤵️
