This could be a great idea and I think it would be a lot more useful for developing thoughts and improvements, than the typical "review chapter 1".

I invite those interested in the matter to also read Chapter 3 of the Nexus Assessment ( zenodo.org/records/1385... ), which provides a comprehensive overview of future sectoral interactions also for non conservation area related issues.

How are we going to navigate this challenge? We argue that integrated spatial planning (GBF Target 1) can provide a key way forward to maximize positives and minimizes negatives outcomes.
In the planning for future conservation areas these interlinkages should be explicitly considered.

We highlight that any expansion of conservation areas can have positive and negative consequences across the Nexus.
These effects are pervasive and vary in magnitude across realms, protection governance types and sectors.
