Breaking my own rule of theatre etiquette and wearing shorts to today’s matinee. It’s simply too hot for anything else.

Higher proportion than usual of attractive people at the cafe this morning. It must be the hot weather bringing them out early.

One of my under the influence (of alcohol) Black Friday online shopping purchases was this Caper Gin Martini kit. Which after consuming will likely lead to more online shopping purchases.

This afternoon I saw ‘Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf’ at the STC. A good play with some strong performances but it did not need to be nearly 3 and a half hours (with 2 breaks). 🎭
And I’ll say it again. If you’re seeing a play, turn off your bloody phone!

Eye test today confirmed my eye sight continues to deteriorate. And I’m not super enthused about the new frames I selected, let alone the cost of them. 😩
