In any case in possession we play with 3 at the back anyway - two CBs split and a midfield player plays between them. Two full backs push up and act as wide midfielders.
3-4-3 is our most common shape in possession with the ball on the opposition half.

We’ve built a squad with a surplus of wingers. Changing now to a formation that doesn’t use wingers would be hilarious (in a very very dark way).

Second half was very positive. We all thought we’d get hammered - and at two down at half time I would have put money on it ending up at least 4.
We showed fight and Farke showed he can make positive changes.

I would have played Okafor on the left - I don’t think there is much between him and Gnonto in the pace area, but Okafor is more a head down and go winger. If we are relying on the break he’d be a better bet.

Nmecha showed some pace last week - I was a bit surprised. He had the legs on both Villa CBs.
