In fact, if you don't have a drivers license and aren't an active student you likely don't have any form of ID on you at all. And more people fall into that camp than you'd expect.

I wouldn't be surprised if Buffet was more a fan of Melinda than Bill in the end. She's been very positive about Warren Buffet, even after he pulled back his previous promise to donate to the foundation after his death.

I was talking to a coworker yesterday about how difficult it is to manage devs who begin using AI because they quality of their work drops and it's tough to get them to improve because any feedback you give doesn't make it to their AI model.

Calling the movie Melania has had the hilarious unintended consequence of not always knowing if their are critiquing the film or her character.

And to clarify, I'm a big fan of fluoridated toothpaste! It's just not a public health measure
January 28, 2026 at 10:31 PM
Fluoridated toothpaste is more prone to injury than fluoridated water. A child could eat a tube of toothpaste and get sick. There is essentially no risk of fluoride damage from fluoridated water.

You're just wrong about this.

We have 80 years of evidence that *fluoridated water* has had major positive impacts for oral health—an estimated 40 to 70% reduction in cavities, equivalent to over $6 billion in savings in dental care.

Relying on personal action is not the same.

Fluoridated water is a public health miracle. This is so sad...

I feel like a lot of these replies are forgetting that November is a midterm. The Supreme Court is not going to intervene in dozens of state races. States are not going to give a crap what Bondi says.

AT WORST rep elects could face issues taking office after the election.

I remember during the last election, when international poll observers came to the US for the first time, they said the distributed nature of our election process was a logistical nightmare for them but also an enormous strength for our electoral process.

The protein obsession has always read, from my perspective, as a combination of fragile masculinity (because everything is gendered, protein=boys and plants=girls) and meat industry propaganda.

It’s never been based in real nutrition science

I love LA but I was angry when I saw this ad. Absolutely trash.
