Excerpt from my dad's diary, today in 1941. He was 13, and astonishingly eloquent. I've also attached a pic of how his diaries actually look, so that you can understand why they're taking quite some time to transcribe.

I would like to recommend you read 'Juliette, or, the Ghosts Return in the Spring' by Camille Jourdy, translated from French by Aleshia Jensen. It's a slice of life graphic novel, exquisitely told. The translation is genius; it feels like you're chatting with pals. The chapter pages are stunning.
