Living in a queer world where everyone can be themselves means accepting that sometimes someone you like won't be into you. To want otherwise hearkens to straight people getting angry and spiteful when they learn their crush is gay, and we rightly disdain those people.

imo mechanical bisexuality is reductive of queerness and limits the realness of NPCs. If every NPC is into every player's identity, the setting has no homosexuals, demisexuals, grey-ace, etc etc. I think NPCs should try to feel like a person, not a doll to project anyone's want for a partner.
