I don’t know if anyone else is a scribbler, but I am, and about once a week I end up with a satisfyingly torn scrap pile after going through all my notes.

I’m new to social media and was told every video I record makes it look like I’m staring directly into the sun and all that makes me think of is that one time Trump stared right into the eclipse.

Political reporting in 2025 is…strange.

Next time someone tells you actors don’t have range remind them that the same guy who opened Fiyero in Wicked on Broadway nailed Bill Belichick on TV.

This is the funniest possible thing Trump could do to victimize the New York Post.

Barring further revelations, the nothing burger of “faith forward” James Talarico following sex workers on socials makes me think some of you didn’t pay attention in Sunday School or you’d remember who Jesus liked hanging out with…

Can anyone (maybe an NYC politics nerd or a helpful @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social staffer) explain why I received a second vote by mail ballot after sending my completed ballot in already?

I would love for my vote to count but also would like to avoid doing a voter fraud.

Cuomo lands a hit on Impaulsive. Zohran strikes back by going on Flagrant with Andrew Schultz.

They'll both be reeling tomorrow when Curtis Sliwa's episode on Meghan Markle's pod drops.

Russell Wilson moved next door to me a few months ago and on one hand it feels like the neighborly thing to make brownies or a casserole when someone is having a rough day.

On the other hand I don’t want to be tackled by security.

Another day, another heartbreaking AI story about how teens are using the technology.

We’ve all had the feeling of being left on read, I can’t imagine managing that as a 15 year old now with AI “friends” always available and seemingly cheery.

Tim Urban's "Spear of Political Violence" has been stuck in my head since I saw it a few days ago. What a powerful metaphor for our current cultural problem.

Reading this New York Times article on the perpetrator re: Charlie Kirk, I’m deeply confused why an 11-year old was appropriate to interview and publish.

There’s no political slant here. I just cannot conceive of a reason to involve a child in this specific piece.

I get the "they love to watch you fall" of it but the glee with which people are ragging on Belichick when he's just trying to coach some football and live his life cannot be healthy. And I'm a Giants fan.

The most excellent part of the Taylor Swift-Travis Kelce engagement is that every single gossip mag is getting their best dirt on it from this man right here.

Hey #booksky does anyone else remember reading these books about a vampire bunny as a kid or was it all a fever dream I made up?
