Trans people are fleeing the country and this bigot wants to pretend like there is no one targeting them while he himself is constantly targeting them with his rhetoric.

Every time HBO Max suggests Real Time after watching Last Week Tonight and I have to resist the urge to throw my TV down the stairs before it autoplays.

Right!?! And then you get autoplay of the featured slasher flick right on the home page. This being extra bad from late August through to November. I don't want to have to set my account up like I'm a kid to avoid that crap.

Also, the math doesn't math out on that 400 year payback statement. He lost his pension and is paying $200/month in restitution. If it was just the $200 a month then yeah it'd take 400 years, but if he's making $4000/month from his pension, it'd take 20 years minus interest.

What is jail time supposed to accomplish here? Perhaps the FOP should have been paying for regular audits of their books so something like this wouldn't happen.

@fetterman.senate.gov really needs to resign.

That phone call to the insurance company was the real test. I gave meds a try once, didn't really find the right thing for me then moved and getting the support structure in place for giving it another go has not happened in the last 2 years.

I didn't realize I had ADHD until I moved and changed jobs and had none of the things 30+ years of living in the same area provided me. I struggled so much and ADHD memes spoke to me in an uncanny way during that time.

Then they’ll pay $50 a person to deal with the administrative burden of collecting that $5 cause that’s the republican way.
November 16, 2025 at 5:27 PM
Right!?! They’ve floated DOGE checks that didn’t happen, tariff rebate checks that would be 3x the tariffs collected, and these insurance checks that won’t work even if they actually got them out. There’s been no legislative movement on these items.

I remember Pete Seeger, in his 90s, going out and protesting with Occupy archive.nytimes.com/cityroom.blo...
Pete Seeger Leads Protesters, on Foot and in Song
A singer who was protesting decades before most of the Wall Street demonstrators were born lent his support to their cause.

yes i am also confused why there are folks that think that this scandal, finally, will end it without us having to resort to politics to stop him

I’ve lost track of the number of hope cycles. Our best chance to have consequences for his wrongdoings was the Biden years and if he didn’t face consequences then, he is super unlikely to face consequences when he more or less owns the justice apparatus. At this point it’s up to collective action.
