I love Thanksgiving food too.

Here's our carb intensive menu for Thursday.

Rather than Thanksgiving, we call it 'Feast of The Sybarites'.

Aaah come
on, I like poodles.
Chris Packham loves poodles.

And I can still see the wolf in our tiny rescues. She's very much there.

Great story. Happy to hear Jake was your companion on such adventures.

New Jersey might have been a better place for that, my friend.

It would be more of a karate chop from Miss Piggy, but close enough.

We visited a charming place yesterday, 'Apple Hill'.
Not far from Lake Tahoe.
Brisk autumn weather and beautiful turning trees.
Here we are in our matching lumberjack shirts, with full bellies and happy hearts.
Preparing for 'Feast of the Sybarites' next week.

New Yorker cover from Westminster Week 1965.

The artist, Birnbaum, chose to illustrate the rising Afghan Hound, as Greyhounds were dropping in prominence.

The strap, on the left, illustrates the six primary dog groups at the time.

Terrier
Working
Hound
Sporting
Non-Sporting
Toy

Young women in the UK are twice as likely to buy a home as young men.

On average, women investors fare better than men.

Women owned businesses show greater capital efficiency - for a fraction of the funding received.

Wonderful idea.

Well done on all accounts, my friend.

You have been playing for a very long time indeed.

((( B R A V I S I M O )))

Do you play Connections?
I have gradually grown to enjoy it more than Spelling Bee.

I play Connections first, then The Bee.

In response to the lives lost, disabled, stunted, over-worked, and destroyed by Covid, our community created this memorial walk.

The arches are made from original tile art, by local artists, featuring local birds, plants, flowers, and wild life.

We enjoy walking here often with our rescue pups.
