Years ago, probably late ‘90s or in 2000, I met Billie at the legendary Big Cup coffee house in Chelsea NYC. We both were sitting by the front windows and immediately hit it off. So friendly. She revealed some interesting info on who inspired a few songs which I’ve never told anyone else about.

I owned a lot of Sheryl Crow’s discography on CD but these three albums I always kept on a short leash.

In my experience on Discord the reaction is VERY mixed.

A bit of what was my Janet Jackson CD collection. Some of these I had since my high school and college days in the ‘80s and early ‘90s. Those CD singles traveled with me for prob 25 years or more. That ‘20 Y.O.’ box I think I found at Permanent Records here in LA.

R.E.M.’s “Monster” was the last CD I played in 2024 and Danny Tenaglia was the first one I pulled up in 2025.

Think I had Danny on the CD player while I was working out in the backyard. Really love this mix.
